VOJ Media ("we", "our", or "us") operates the Vincent Selvakumar mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our App.

1. Information We Collect

Information you provide directly:

• Account Information: When you register, we collect your name, email address, phone number, city, state, and country.
• Profile Information: You may optionally provide your date of birth and profile photo.
• User-Generated Content: Notes, bookmarks, highlights, and reading progress you create within the App.
• Support Requests: Messages you send through the in-app support feature.

Information collected automatically:

• Device Information: Device model, manufacturer, operating system version, and SDK version for compatibility and support purposes.
• Usage Data: Content viewing history, reading progress, song play counts, and video view counts to personalize your experience.
• Push Notification Tokens: Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) tokens to deliver push notifications.
• App Version: Your installed app version for update notifications.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To create and manage your account
• To provide and personalize the App's content (videos, songs, magazines, bible studies, prophecies)
• To save your reading progress, bookmarks, notes, and highlights across devices
• To send push notifications about new content, live streams, and ministry updates
• To register you for meetings and events (including DEDC events)
• To manage your PPD (Personal Prophecy Diary) access and content
• To respond to your support requests
• To improve the App's functionality and user experience

3. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

• Firebase (Google): For push notifications and analytics. Subject to Google's Privacy Policy.
• Cloudflare: For content delivery (videos, media storage). Subject to Cloudflare's Privacy Policy.
• Laravel Cloud: For application hosting and database management.

4. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored on secure cloud servers managed by Laravel Cloud. We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information, including:

• Encrypted data transmission (HTTPS/TLS)
• Hashed passwords (never stored in plain text)
• JWT-based authentication tokens with expiration
• Rate limiting on authentication endpoints

5. Data Retention

We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active. If you request account deletion, your personal data will be permanently removed within 30 days. Aggregated, anonymized data may be retained for analytics purposes.

6. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access your personal data through the App's Profile section
• Update your personal information at any time
• Delete your account and all associated data (see our Data Deletion Policy)
• Opt out of push notifications through your device settings
• Request a copy of your data by contacting us

7. Children's Privacy

Our App is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the new Privacy Policy within the App and updating the "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
