Data Deletion Policy
At VOJ Media, we respect your right to control your personal data. This page explains how you can request the deletion of your data from the Vincent Selvakumar App.
1. How to Delete Your Account
You can request complete deletion of your account and all associated data through any of the following methods:
Option A: Through the App
- Open the App and navigate to Profile
- Tap Account Settings
- Select Delete Account
- Confirm your decision
Option B: Via Email
- Send an email to [email protected]
- Use the subject line: "Account Deletion Request"
- Include the email address associated with your account
- We will process your request within 30 days
2. What Data Gets Deleted
When you request account deletion, the following data will be permanently removed:
- Your account profile (name, email, phone number, date of birth, city, state, country)
- Authentication credentials (password, tokens)
- Personal notes, bookmarks, and highlights
- Reading progress and history
- Viewing and listening history
- Push notification tokens and device information
- Meeting/event registrations linked to your account
- Support tickets and messages
- PPD (Personal Prophecy Diary) access and progress data
- Magazine subscription records
- Downloaded content records
3. What Data May Be Retained
The following may be retained even after account deletion:
- Aggregated, anonymized analytics: Non-identifiable usage statistics (e.g., total video views) that cannot be traced back to you.
- Legal obligations: Data required to comply with legal, regulatory, or audit obligations, retained only for the legally required period.
- Locally stored content: Any content you downloaded to your device must be deleted manually by uninstalling the App or clearing its data through your device settings.
4. Processing Timeline
- In-app deletion: Processed immediately upon confirmation.
- Email requests: Processed within 30 calendar days of receipt.
- You will receive a confirmation email once your data has been deleted.
5. Effects of Deletion
Please note: Account deletion is permanent and irreversible. Once deleted:
• You will lose access to all content, notes, bookmarks, and reading progress.
• Your PPD access and prophecy records will be removed.
• You will no longer receive push notifications.
• You can create a new account, but your previous data cannot be recovered.
